Pennywhistle Paper Co. Debut

The shop is open! You can now visit Pennywhistle Paper Co. on etsy.com to view and purchase my handmade cards, postcards, and stationary!

Right now, I only have two items up in the showroom, but plan to have many more added by Wednesday, once I take the pictures.

All items are handmade and hand-embossed by me in my Brooklyn studio. Right now, I'm mostly making antique-style cards and postcards using recycled brown paper with a rubber-print and gold-ink embossing technique.

True Love in True Color

Like most people, I love 'LOVE.' While weddings are the traditional showcase of love, oftentimes the wedding becomes about showing off your money, or your style, or they're about being perfect (something that love never is). Bono to share his love poetry...with Elvis

First, let me say that I am a Bono fan—really! But I can’t sit back and let the following media-mistake wash over the literary among us without some kind of nasty words from me. Bono, you are a lyricist, not a poet (oh when will we learn the difference!), and as such, please keep your adolescent odes in your livejournal, where they belong.

The Following is an excerpt from Bono’s tribute (read love) poem to Elvis Presley, which he will read as part of a 15-minute feature interwoven with specially composed music and archive material to be broadcast by BBC Radio 4 on May 13 2009.
